The size of the rooms is decent and the price is reasonable, making the location quite good. Management can be a bit hit or miss; sometimes their office is locked and nobody's there. If you are able to reach them, they are generally nice, but that's only if you manage to contact them in the first place. I emailed once and got a response from another building which was peculiar. Maintenance requests are alright; some take longer than others to complete, while some get done relatively quickly. The units aren't cleaned before move-in so there may be old tenant belongings in your living room and I had an issue with roaches (although pest control was contacted after a few emails). Despite this, it isn't an awful place - for its price you get a large room with decent soundproofing but outdated kitchens. The main problem lies in management though.

I am outraged. I have called and sent in a request multiple times, yet I still have not received any response. When I came to the apartment on Friday, my bathroom was an absolute mess; the sink was clogged and the room was very untidy. Furthermore, when I went to use the lobby toilet, it looked like it had not been cleaned for months. How could you even open this place for moving in? My expectations were not met and it is unfair that no one has gotten back to me about cleaning out my bathroom as promised when signing the lease agreement. It is simply unacceptable that I had to resort to using other people's washrooms because of this poor service; one of my roommates even told me some flatmates had to clean out the apartment before they moved in! Security around here is also non-existent from what I can tell which further adds to this problem. This entire experience has been extremely dissatisfying - something needs to be done about it soon!
