Staying at this location is highly discouraged. It's unclean, noisy, and filled with roaches. The good ratings here are given by people who are compensated by Homestead and the manager of the building is particularly impolite. The stairwells almost never get cleaned; I've even seen staff leave messes untouched while still cleaning around it. They also don't provide much warning before turning off water for repairs. Many of the apartments have more people living in them than they should, so it's constantly bustling and noisy.

If you're considering relocating here, think twice. Last year tenants had to face a hearing due to the landlord raising rent by more than 5%. Additionally, they asked for money for the parking lot that was half-fixed and after three months was just as broken as before. Even though we were paying $25/month for parking, they wanted us to up it to $40/month. The tenants refused and still pay the same rate today. In addition, we had to pay for a building automation system that was supposed to regulate temperature but didn't work; now new tenants have to purchase their own electricity whereas current tenants pay all-inclusive + parking fees. If you need repairs in your unit, be prepared for a struggle; one tenant waited over a year and another was told it was his responsibility when it turned out an error on the building's part caused it. Frank is unhelpful with tenant complaints but will act quickly if inconvenienced in any way – he even visited our floor at 10pm one night because someone sounded "like banging things in their sink". Before signing up here, talk with other tenants yourself – don't take my word alone – and if possible seek alternative accommodation because this is no place any renter should live!
