2023-01-12T16:00:04ZPros: The apartment is in a great, safe location and is very well maintained. Cons: Lux utilizes Fetch, a poorly reviewed delivery service that delays packages 1-2 days on average. Also, Fedex was asked to reroute all items to the closest Fetch location in Kirkland; this increases sales taxes for customers using the provided address. Furthermore, with the Bellevue10 building now complete just east of Lux Apartments, there is no privacy from east windows as you can see your neighbors almost face-to-face. As a result, residents have had to close all blinds on that side of the building for privacy. Additionally, each floor has its own garbage room but recyclables must be disposed of in the parking lot which makes it inconvenient because one must take an elevator down to get there; thus many residents leave boxes in the garbage room and they remain there for weeks. Lastly, this apartment has one of the highest utility costs (including electricity and gas) among others lived in by two people as well as separate fees for amenities and service; when combined with standard Puget Sound bill averages are around $300 or more per month.
