I have rented quite a few places in the past and I am incredibly pleased with this one! Despite it being an older complex, it is extremely well maintained. When I needed to get a leaky tap fixed, somebody was there that very same day. During wintertime, the staff were out making sure that the sidewalks were shoveled and had ice melt put down; they even used a bobcat to clear parking stalls. It's true that there isn't much soundproofing between units as the buildings are old, but it isn't really that bad. There are regulations regarding pets, parties and rent payments which are strictly enforced - personally I am glad of this as it keeps everything running smoothly. The reviews here don't give an accurate representation; apartments here are clean and at reasonable prices too. Since arriving here to view an apartment (which was referred by a friend) my experience has been absolutely wonderful!

I resided in Strathern Heights Apartments for a lengthy fifteen years and fondly recall the time spent there; it was like living in a house, as it was across from one. Everything stayed clean and well-maintained; lawns were mowed and flowers grew, snow shoveled. Although the laundry area was far away, that never mattered much. The management staff were incredible. Recently I revisited my old place - the tenants graciously welcomed me inside - and nostalgia overwhelmed me so much that tears streamed down my face (thank you J & L!). Strathern is truly an adorable neighbourhood; please change your pet law so I can bring a small dog when I move back!
