We have been content in our residence, which we have been occupying for 1-1/2 years. Our neighbours are very amiable and all the other tenants with pets are especially welcoming. The high ceilings and balcony make the living space appear much larger, enabling us to feel at ease when coming home from work. Moreover, the building manager does a good job maintaining the common areas and is punctual when responding to any issues that require repairs. Furthermore, Langford downtown has experienced significant development; it's convenient to traverse around town for groceries, liquor stores, pubs & restaurants - particularly House of Boateng at Peatt Commons building! Additionally, there are many unique shops near Goldstream as well as major retailers close by too. We can take our dogs on strolls along E&N railroad trail or use the dog wash service in our apartment building - keeping it clean! Lastly, we look forward to Peatt Commons West opening soon with its pet-friendly garden open to our community.
I have been living at Peatt Commons in Langford for over a year now, after relocating from a poorly managed apartment downtown Victoria. I'm beyond delighted with my new residence; the caretaker Paul is fantastic and the managers are always willing to lend assistance when required. Moreover, there's an array of great tenants that are already part of the community. A Facebook group is set up so you can get to know your neighbours and there's even an acclaimed restaurant right within the complex that serves amazing food! With just five minutes away from places such as Costco, restaurants, bars, grocery stores and Westshore Mall – not to mention Colwood where I work – it really couldn't be any more convenient! The icing on top of the cake is that my 15-year-old daughter has a friend in the building too so they often hang out together or go for bubble tea downstairs or explore other locations around Langford. As far as single parents like me go with their teenage daughters living in tow, this has definitely been our best choice yet; we feel safe and secure here, made new acquaintances and sense a genuine concern from owners regarding upkeep of their property. It's pet friendly too which only adds to its appeal! All in alI have been living at Peatt Commons in Langford for over a year now, after relocating from a poorly managed apartment downtown Victoria. The building was relatively quiet and safe, with up-to-date amenities including air conditioning, a dishwasher, and in-suite laundry. The major plus of the property was Steve the manager; he was very responsive to all issues, big or small, and could be trusted to follow up on requests. Moreover, he always gave notice of maintenance or neighbourhood issues being addressed – he was both amicable and likable. The only downside was the near constant construction of other buildings as well as roadwork on Peatt Road which made it quite busy.
