The building is in pristine condition and the renovations to the apartments are superb The building manager Luka is incredibly friendly and always responds quickly to any inquiries It is highly recommended

I have been living in Strathmore Lodge for the past 5 years which was highly recommended to me by two of my closest friends who were former occupants As I experienced the application process I was incredibly impressed with their property management The building managers are onsite 7 days a week and greeted me warmly eager to make sure that I felt at home in 2022-09-20T18:32:16Z
I have been living in Strathmore Lodge for the past 5 years which was highly recommended to me by two of my closest friends who were former occupants As I experienced the application process I was incredibly impressed with their property management The building managers are onsite 7 days a week and greeted me warmly eager to make sure that I felt at home in their building and that I would fit in with the positive and respectful tenants already living there In my 5 years here Strathmore Lodge has continued to surpass my expectations of how a property should be managed They always go beyond what is expected and know all of us by name even more impressive considering how many people live here The building has seen many improvements such as new windows heating systems laundry services and elevators being installed over the last 56 years Any issue is quickly taken care of thanks to their proactive approach Furthermore Strathmore lodge provides a safe atmosphere where everyone respects each other instead of having parties that may disturb neighbours All common areas are cleaned twice daily due to covid19 precautions which I am especially grateful for This beautiful building also offers an ideal location in the West End with a walk score of 94 My grocery store liquor store hair salonbarber shoppharmacyfavourite bar are all within one block radius not forgetting there is also an amazing park plus weekly farmers market just outside my door more ... hide ...

The Barafield Apartment Building complex could be a great residence for tenants however the current building managersresident managers are lazy and often hide in their offices They do not use the proper tools to clean surfaces and have poor attitudes Furthermore they lack the diplomacy and knowledge needed to deal with issues making them illsuited for this 2022-09-28T13:32:26Z
The Barafield Apartment Building complex could be a great residence for tenants however the current building managersresident managers are lazy and often hide in their offices They do not use the proper tools to clean surfaces and have poor attitudes Furthermore they lack the diplomacy and knowledge needed to deal with issues making them illsuited for this job Most of the tenants will be relieved when this couple moves away because of their bigger offer elsewhere excuse that makes one feel sick to their stomach They are a disgrace and it is hoped that whoever takes over will bring back dignity to this profession more ... hide ...

I had one of the worst experiences ever at 825 East 8th Place Management was constantly changing and all of our wall outlets were painted over rendering them useless The water pressure was too high and no one bothered to fix it Before we moved out a water fixture issue in the suite below caused flooding our own suites floor got hot and started to smell bad 2022-11-09T19:02:18Z
I had one of the worst experiences ever at 825 East 8th Place Management was constantly changing and all of our wall outlets were painted over rendering them useless The water pressure was too high and no one bothered to fix it Before we moved out a water fixture issue in the suite below caused flooding our own suites floor got hot and started to smell bad We went downstairs but there was no tenant only water coming from under the door When we called management they asked if they needed to come or call a plumber shouldnt that have been their job This is just a fraction of all the issues with this building even Vancouver City knew about them as when I reported an unsafe elevator they said it had been shut down by them In addition there were some suspicious people entering sometimes breakins in the garage too Twice someone tried opening our front door when we were home thankfully it was locked DO NOT MOVE HERE any good reviews are fake since they all occurred around the same time frame and each account only has 1 review for this place Don't fall for it you will regret your decision 100 more ... hide ...

This building is in terrible shape and the management is atrocious Its plagued with mice and roaches and the building manager is hard to handle consequently many residents move out within a month or two of moving in Don't rent here You will be held responsible for any difficulties everything Jennifer says should be taken with extreme caution All floors have 2022-11-09T22:02:17Z

Overall the condition of the apartments is very poor Maintenance has been neglected for years leading to multiple issues arising together There has been a mouse infestation at 1436 Graveley Street for a year as well as reports of bed bugs and electrical fires Our own apartment had electrical problems that were repeatedly brought up to management but ignored resulting in an electrical fire in our loft we were told to keep baseboards off if we wanted The companys building manager Jennifer is not helpful unorganized rude and making it difficult so many tenants have resorted to taking them to the RTB just to get basic things fixed We have even created a tenant Facebook group due to the misinformation Jennifer shared No one should move here we cant wait to leave more ... hide ...
