The building is in a great location and is safe with access to many grocery stores The transit is excellent but the rent is quite high Additionally the property management often cannot be reached after 5 pm or on holidays and may not be very helpful to new immigrants For instance when I was moving from one unit to another within the building they asked that 2022-10-05T11:32:17Z
The building is in a great location and is safe with access to many grocery stores The transit is excellent but the rent is quite high Additionally the property management often cannot be reached after 5 pm or on holidays and may not be very helpful to new immigrants For instance when I was moving from one unit to another within the building they asked that I pay an extra month of rent if I wanted an extra day for packing up my belongings this would have made me homeless for a night After some begging and pleading they finally agreed to give me an extra day without paying even though there was another tenant in the unit that same day Its unclear how it all worked out in the end but it certainly was a stressful experience more ... hide ...

I strongly advise against living in this apartment The manager and supervisor are no help proving to be unresponsive to phone calls or inquiries My first experience in Canada was a terrible one due to the constant construction noise during the day caused by a project that I was not informed about at the time of signing my lease To make matters worse my rent got increased at the end of the year and I had to leave The back door was not closing during wintertime and rats were running around when I moved in only resolved after I suggested they check all heat outlets throughout the unit their repair person wasnt providing new parts but rather temporary fixes The kitchen shelves draws were outdated while having a small refrigerator that didnt provide enough storage space for necessities during this Covid19 season or wintertime Smoke from tenants outside would come into my unit despite complaints being made to the supervisor who did nothing about it whatsoever Many have already left since then and referrals are being used as an attempt for them to get people back in thus it is best to find another place with lower rent and more peacefulness instead Once you are in with them they will show their true colors so it is better just avoid going there altogether if possible if you do decide on going ahead with it then wait see what happens more ... hide ...

This location is ideal situated near grocery stores hospitals shopping malls gas stations Yorkdale mall and a subway station its also only minutes away from highway 401 There are many great restaurants in the area and the building is pet friendly with certain guidelines in place The neighbourhood here is quite pleasant a mixture of families singles and couples of all ages who are generally very friendly Security is good and attentive while the property management team are helpful with any queries or concerns Theres limited guest parking on the third floor but its still an adequate amount Having lived in the building for 6 months now Im really pleased with my decision theres an onsite gym which isn't like GoodLife or Wynn fitness but has all the necessary machines and weights to get by plus a theatre room party room BBQ terrace which can be rented out I have a southfacing balcony that gets lots of daylight which is great The building backs onto a highway but there isn't much noise at nighttime Its around 10 years old so there are some minor wear tear issues which get fixed quickly by property management who are really accommodating to work with If youre looking for accommodation here then definitely consider it more ... hide ...

Living here for nearly a year has been exhausting The ceiling leaked when it rained and the paint in the living room peeled off and fell It took them a month to get it to stop leaking but Im still waiting for them to fix the paint Additionally the refrigerator shut down twice without warning and once I was stuck in an elevator for half an hour when it just stopped working Homeless people hung around the main entrance during wintertime and some even got into the building yelling loudly in stairways somebody even kicked my door aggressively one night due to there being no security Management did nothing about this issue with safety either theres not even an automatic door so if you have heavy items youre out of luck 1900month is too much money for a place like this their emergency line and building manager may be helpful but who wants to call frequently After long days at work home should be somewhere where one can relax and destress how can that happen if my home is constantly giving me trouble more ... hide ...

Ive been staying at The Lonsdale for about a year or two and I have to say its been nothing short of spectacular Being only 14 I thought living in an apartment would be miserable but it turned out to be quite nice Located across the water and with a large park just across the street there are also plenty of convenience stores and eateries nearby ideal if youre someone who likes to explore their surroundings There is also an exercise gym room for fitness inside the building as well as underground parking and a mailbox compartment area as seen in my pictures The interior is beautiful and the views of the sky are astounding Lastly they keep everything spotless 1010 in my book If youre looking for a new home then this should certainly be taken into consideration more ... hide ...
