My first time renting was certainly a memorable experience though not in a good way The building had nice finishes but the management left much to be desired We rented a three bedroom unit that felt smaller than expected the third bedroom lacked a window which Im sure isn't up to fire safety regulations There wasnt even room for a dining area in the master bedroom and while the balcony was large it seemed like some of that space could have been better used inside As part of our agreement we were responsible for changing light bulbs we had to replace at least 8 in our first year Plus our air conditioner didnt start working until almost the end of our lease After multiple requests for help from management it turned out there was an issue with the drainage line not being connected Parking in the underground lot was convenient but inconveniently jammed when two or more vehicles were trying to come and go at once same went for the elevator which often needed repairs Additionally we heard children making noise around us all day and night plus pets despite rules being against them not to mention multiple instances of faulty fire alarms going off during sleep hours Lastly upon moving out I had no receipt of my damage deposit until 1 month later when I contacted them again they had sent it to my old address despite me already having vacated Needless to say Id rent there again if only management provided better service more ... hide ...

This place is spectacular I don't even know where to begin with all the amazing things there are to say about it We went as two couples and had a wonderful time The property was great we stayed in the twobedroom cottage at the top of a hill behind Sarah and Keiths house which was cooler than other areas due to its tree coverage and furnished with everything necessary for a comfortable stay as well as some fun decorations The deck was private and roomy enough for four or five people After you drop off your luggage you can take a walk down the hill blackberries available in season to find one of most expansive stunning accessible sandy lake shorelines ever perfect for activities like swimming tanning throwing frisbees around they even have wood ready for fire pits floatiesnoodleskayakscanoespaddle boatsloungers available too The lake itself is huge with breathtaking views all around it warm waters given by springs without leeches in sight plus fish loons and turtles Keith made an amazing cottagestyle shed filled with water toys close by along with another fully equipped washroom so no need of going back up to your cottage all the time At night you can listen to cracking wood from fires nearby or voices laughter coming from different cottages around the lake Everyone we met was friendly too Lastly Sarah Keith have chickens that lay eggs if wanted for more ... hide ...
