I have been living in this neighborhood for over two years now and I think it is great Everyone is friendly the maintenance staff is fast and reliable and the rent is very fair compared to how nice it looks An added bonus is that you don't have to pay for heat or hot water and there are also gas stoves which are a plus Parking availability isn't an issue either as theres plenty of room in most units Bathrooms are fairly new with decent tiling plus newclean showers while kitchens look okay too The only downside here would be the flooring since I live in a basement apartment under someone who cant weigh more than 110lbs it sounds like shes much heavier when she walks around due to the old carpeting With that said I don't think upgraded units are worth it as they just include microwaves and nicer kitchen tiling all while having ugly base boards along with outdated air conditioners and vestibule from the 1980s in each building Despite some of its flaws though this place works well for commuters to NYC since getting to the station only takes me 5 minutes with lightstraffic Ultimately this community has a nice atmosphere with friendly people at a relatively inexpensive rent rate more ... hide ...
