This derivative contains US/territory land-zone polygons without simplification,
partitioned into2-degree tiles with0.1-degree padding. index.json maps a tile
coordinate floor(longitude/2),floor(latitude/2) to either an all-covered IANA zone
or [byte offset, compressed length, SHA-256] in boundaries.dat. Each record is a
gzip JSON array of {zone, polygons:[GeoJSON Polygon coordinate arrays]} entries.
Full original-precision rings and holes are retained. One-kilometer ambiguity
guards require manual reviewed overrides at uncertain borders. No visitor data
or apartment facts are included in this downloadable geographical database.
