Living here has been quite the experience - mold, outrageous rent hikes annually, cockroaches, red ants, flies, rats and bedbugs. I'm still dealing with the mold, rats and bedbugs. Usually they don't address these issues promptly. To get rid of the cockroaches we resorted to a home remedy from Google search and prayer (!). Haven't seen any red ants or flies since the bedbug treatments a month ago but those little critters are still alive and thriving! Ignoring or just painting over the mold won't make it go away management team! Rent hikes for new elevators in basement parking but no maintenance of apartment units for residents living here for 7+ years? Our units are falling apart!!! If I had children this would not be an option; there have been violent crimes around these buildings every year or so. My neighbor has reported many things at that plaza nearby here- you can check out Durham News to confirm this. No security systems in buildings either plus cameras that don't work properly - vehicles in underground parking get damaged (scratches/dents/tires slashed) but police never have evidence because cameras don't capture anything useful!
