I've been a resident for almost 2.5 years at Garden Towers, and I'm thrilled with my experience. The apartments are well-maintained, with stunning views! Plus, it's in an ideal location near downtown Calgary. In my opinion, it's the most reasonably priced condo building with excellent security and expert management. Requests are handled promptly due to the new management company-- water outages usually come with a week or more notice and get resolved faster than anticipated. I highly recommend this place to anyone searching for an affordable home in the city center; it's simply incredible! The concierges are all very friendly and helpful; Deepak Shrestha is especially skilled and professional. He is always willing to assist us tenants in any way he can, which is really appreciated!

The staff who manages the building is doing a satisfactory job, which would be much easier if tenants displayed more respect and consideration for the property. Several households reside in unsanitary conditions, leading to issues with pests like bedbugs and cockroaches. Being immigrants from third-world countries, they are adjusting to life in Canada; however, as someone who has lived all over the world, their lack of cleanliness is quite disappointing. Even basic hygiene such as keeping common areas tidy appears to be too much to ask; garbage often lingers in the elevator while laundry rooms are usually cluttered and broken items scattered everywhere. Furthermore, there's an abundance of homeless people and drug users frequenting the area near this apartment complex which can be intimidating. All things considered, it's suitable for short-term lodging but not a good long-term option.

I have been living here for six months and wish I had never signed the lease. The staff are friendly, but there is a lot that needs to be improved. The apartments offer generous space; however, unfortunately, cockroaches are everywhere despite the building's efforts to keep them under control. Moreover, the area around is a mess with drug addicts and therefore it doesn't justify the amount of rent I pay due to its proximity to the train station. In addition, there is no air-conditioner in my suite and even though there is a vent above stove in kitchen, it does not work properly. The showerhead is too short for someone who is 5'10" tall and similarly bedroom has no lighting at all instead of switch turning on an outlet. Bathtub and sink have cheap drain plugs attached with chains which slip out from drains easily while windows are old-school type with two sliders making them difficult to handle. Blinds are broken too! You need deep sleep as noise from train outside or people screaming or construction work done through night disturb you constantly! To make matters worse, traps and pestiside used in infestation process can be harmful if left open while fire alarm false alarms occur frequently as well as break ins at night which secur I have been living here for six months and wish I had never signed the lease.
