I originally was so fond of this building due to the amenities, especially the sky lounge open 24 hours and accessible to everyone. Can we bring that back? Nobody reserved it exclusively, so everyone could use it- that was great. However, increasingly more restrictions have been put in place making living here not enjoyable anymore. Even though I'm paying for these amenities in my rent, I can't even take advantage of them plus having to pay for water/electricity on top of already high rent. Therefore, when my lease is up I'm strongly considering leaving because management/security make one feel like a guest in their own home - not worth it at all.

This building is overall quite impressive! I share the same sentiment as other reviews, that it's a nice place but there are some issues. Here's a list of things to note: 1. Amazing amenities like a 2-floor gym with pool tables, 35th floor sky bar/lounge, ping pong, golf simulator, outdoor basketball court and pool. Plus free coffee on the second floor - what more could you want? 2. Accessing these amenities can be tough though; they're often booked or closed for some reason and my fob won't work on the doors. At the pool in summertime it was crowded with people who don't live in this building making it hard for residents to use it, and also there are lots of rules that don't make much sense. 3. Rent is at a higher price than usual but still competitive - underground parking costs $150 which is fairly standard for YYC - however you have to pay extra for water and electricity which can be around $50-$100 monthly depending on your usage. 4. It's walkable to several great neighborhoods within 10 minutes so great location too!

I am so delighted with this place, its personnel, and the facilities. Everyone here is very obliging and will go out of their way to make sure your needs are met; I must give a special shout out to Malachy who was particularly helpful in my unique situation. Bella and I have been made to feel extremely welcome by the friendly staff. The property management has done an outstanding job communicating with us about the happenings on-site. Though I haven't yet had a chance to try all of them, the amenities appear excellent - like the dog wash, big kitchen area suitable for parties and get-togethers, guest suites for visitors, full gymnasium, sky lounge which is regularly occupied by residents. A few delays have occurred in regards to the outdoor space/pool but they can't be helped due to supply chains or contractors. Once it's finished (which looks imminent!), it will be fantastic! If you're looking for somewhere new to live then The BLVD should be at the top of your list - it's modern and visually appealing and only going from strength to strength (with its pool/terrace expectedly making it one of Calgary's finest!).
