I moved into this building and I enjoyed it, however, since the management changed and classes resumed at SAIT, things have drastically altered. If you are a student this spot could be great but if you are older than 25 then I suggest staying away. The rooftop patio is gorgeous but it is usually full of garbage and empty cans. The fire pits and barbecues either do not work or have no fuel to use them. There was also an incredibly loud neighbour that management failed to address even after multiple complaints were filed. Repairs take forever to complete or get completely neglected; for example, I reported a dishwasher leak that was promised to be fixed right away yet nothing happened so I had to repair it myself (and the same goes for paint chips from a previous tenant). The stairwells used to provide access with FOBs but last summer they were only used as exits; one night both elevators broke down leaving me and many others stuck in the lobby because there was no way of accessing the stairs from there- luckily now one of them has FOB access again! Also, the garbage room can only be accessed externally which makes it often full without enough bins for its size. Plus, its location near groceries stores, parks and transit makes it unbeatable- just 5 minutes driving distance from downtown with 20 minutes max on transit to get downtown for work!
