My partner and I have been living in the Driftwood for approximately four years, and we truly adore this building. The amenities are sensational: it has a great location, onsite parking, new windows, balcony door, and exterior facade. But all of these luxuries would be worthless if we didn't have Susan and George as our building managers; they are so thorough with maintenance requests and upkeep that it makes us feel right at home. We plan to stay here for quite some time!

As a senior residing at The Diplomat Apartments, which are part of the Williams McDaniel family of buildings, I have been here for over three years. Our accommodations are located near Riverside Park and the Evergreen Senior Centre, as well as a convenient bus stop for line 99. George and Suzanne, our “Supers” are incredibly friendly and hardworking; they go above and beyond to ensure we receive excellent service. When an issue arises that they can't resolve on the spot themselves, they bring in professionals to take care of it without any cost to us. They also arrange an annual Christmas gathering and summer Barbecue with management. Trish from management is especially helpful; she took care of an issue that would normally be addressed when I was leaving at no expense to me. The apartments here are spacious compared to newer buildings and many have been remodeled with new bathrooms and kitchens featuring dishwashers. All in all, I couldn't imagine living anywhere else as an independent senior individual!

I've been living in the Driftwood Apartments on Woolwich Street in Guelph, ON for close to seven months, so I'm still a relative newcomer. The building and property are kept tidy and maintained well; most importantly, it's quiet with no noisy or disruptive neighbors. Williams & McDaniel have been very welcoming to tenants; when I moved in they gave me some nice welcome items and also had a Christmas reception with snacks and door prizes. My apartment got refurbished before I moved in: the kitchen and bathroom both got new floors, wall tiles/backsplash, cabinets, appliances, fixtures; plus the rooms were repainted and the floors refinished. Externally too there was a lot of work done - all windows and sliding doors replaced - whilst balconies totally redone. Now my apartment is warm and bright but it'd be better if it had elevator access at ground level! The managers George & Suzanne are very friendly & helpful when you have any issues or concerns; they're also good at staying in touch which demonstrates their commitment. On top of that its location can't be beaten: banks, pharmacy, Evergreen Seniors Centre bus service, convenience stores cleaners etc nearby as well as Riverside Park right next door!
