Living in Hoem is alright, however it does not seem to be managed well and feels like it is just a money-making venture. The apartments are nice with scenic views and are fully furnished, so that's nice. I lived here for 1 year and 4 months, but during this time there were many problems which occurred. At the time of signing my 1-year lease contract, I was unexpectedly moved to a different floor for the last 4 months without an explanation as to why. Also, while I was moved into a 4 bedroom apartment, I was still charged rent for the 3 bedroom apartment I left behind - which went against the contract we had signed initially. This problem only got resolved after many emails were exchanged between me and management; it should have been handled by management instead of leaving it to unqualified students at the front desk who did not take me or my roommate seriously until my mother intervened. Moreover, without any prior warning from Hoem staff we had a new roommate move into our place in the middle of the night! They also failed to provide us with wifi password or roommate agreement paper when we shifted apartments.
