I was looking for a peaceful place to get away from Vancouver and recharge and this spot was the perfect choice Nicole was very accommodating when an Airbnb booking I had fell through last minute The cottage is located in Gillies Bay on the eastern side of the bay with a great view of CourtenayComox across the strait on Vancouver Island Being there felt so tranquil only sounds were that of the water gently lapping onto the shore below which has its own private path down and some ducks quacking at sunset You can walk to a general store within 5 minutes it has everything you need including movie rentals various meats at their butchers counter and an impressive liquor selection The cabin itself is wellequipped with all modern amenities kitchen with utensils bathroom facilities heating system etc as well as plenty of seating in its spacious living room which comes complete with games and entertainment options There are two bedrooms one kingsized bed one queensized bed plus a loft area fit for children if travelling with them All in all I highly recommend this place if Im ever back on the Sunshine Coast anytime soon then this will be my first stop Thanks Nicole more ... hide ...
