Living here for 2.5 years has been expensive for both rent and hydro, yet the landlord has not addressed several issues: a cracked bedroom window, power outages, disruptive noises from building machinery, and elevators that stop functioning nearly every week. Even with the smallest unit in the building my hydro cost was at times $190 although the air conditioner wouldn't work at night. Emails to management were of no help - I can only guess how much others paid. Some owners think they own the entire building; their sense of entitlement is appalling and can make anyone under 55 feel unwelcome in their own home. For such high cost and lack of peacefulness there are many alternatives with similar amenities in Orleans or downtown - but I recommend staying away from any Gallivan businesses!
