So far, I'm not impressed with this place. Don't come here if you're expecting reliable electricity and quick response from maintenance; even the incentives offered with signing require hounding management for delivery. If you're looking for an attitude from the office, you'll find it here. The promised dog wash station and fenced-in run were advertised but still haven't been completed. We were put up in a hotel for three nights when the building failed inspection; it's clear why now. No reimbursement was given for any of these problems or issues—not worth how much rent is being charged! My last place was 30 years old but had better appliances and quicker maintenance at $500 less per month...if I didn't have to move due to work obligations, I would have stayed put!

Applying here is costly, as the price has more than doubled since I submitted my application. Be sure to research thoroughly, as Livingston residents are required to pay a yearly fee of ~$400 in community fees; however, the monthly rate is higher for unclear reasons. Moving was a nightmare; we had to stay in a hotel until late at night after work ended at 4:30PM. On the day of moving in, one hour of elevator time was allocated due to all tenants arriving simultaneously; this meant that we had to give away many possessions just so that our items would fit into that slot. Maintenance requires several attempts before any problems can be addressed- there have been roof leaks and stains on ceilings from improper drying which have yet to be fixed after almost a month! Some staff members remain kind throughout it all though, and I give them two stars for their hard work during chaos of move-in week - handling angry phone calls while booking hotel rooms and accommodating everyone with pets must have been tough! In conclusion, if you're sensitive to noise then this may not be the place for you - when it's windy outside you can hear it through the siding of your unit, and walls/floors are thin enough that you can always hear people livi more ...

We recently moved into Livingston Heights, and have only been able to use the elevator once. The building is big enough that there should be two elevators for the residents, but due to cost-cutting there's only one; this is a huge inconvenience for all, especially those with disabilities. We got a large 2 bedroom/2 bathroom unit with an in-suite laundry room and forced air heating/cooling - it has a very condo-like feel. The building is still under construction so there's some noise and mess to deal with, but the staff are friendly and helpful which makes up for it. Moving here from Ontario was painless as everything could be done online or over the phone - however, they really need two elevators!

I have to give one star, I'm not happy about that. After moving in for only 10 days, the air conditioner broke down and no one can tell when it will be fixed. The temperature inside sometimes rises above 30 degrees Celsius and we cannot open windows or doors due to the construction going on outside. Contacting the 1866 number has been useless; they don't provide any help or care. Additionally, there are other issues such as poor quality fixtures that could break at any time, walls of kitchens without backsplash which easily get dirty making them difficult to clean, no room for winter tires or bikes in balconies which is considered misconduct according to management; furthermore you have to pay extra for a parking spot which is not often available at night since it's unmonitored/unmanaged. Paying a premium price of $400+ for an unfinished walkout apartment but getting poor management treatment is another issue as they see us just as numbers from the time we signed our leases. Moreover two months later the range hood stopped working and after creating a service request no response was received until now- two weeks after AC stopped working- they were more concerned with how my balcony looks like! Do not move here if you don't want to more ...
