I recently moved into a place managed by Homestead and it has been such a great experience compared to dealing with private landlords. They have on-site staff, the unit was professionally cleaned/painted between tenancies and the building is undergoing restoration work. Although this is an inconvenience, it's normal and necessary for buildings now and then. There are still some things that could be improved like adding a compost bin, dishwashers, increased building security (such as fobs for accessing floors) and better soundproofing between units; I can hear my neighbour speaking through our shared wall even now.
