We've had cockroaches for two months and I reported the issue to the office more than two weeks ago. Last week, ABC sent someone to inspect our kitchen and bathroom, and they confirmed treatment was necessary. However, we haven't heard from them since then. Three days ago I called to ask why ABC had been sent in the first place, but they said it was procedure. So I sent two photos; they told me a person would be coming soon to treat the problem and would inform us that day or the next. But three days have gone by with no news whatsoever; not only is our apartment infested with roaches but all of those on our floor too, yet after many calls and emails no one came until few days ago. One week has passed without any further developments despite all my follow ups; eventually they specified a day for someone to come confirm if there were still roaches present—but that individual never showed up!

I was given a 0-star ranking due to the atrocious service, repair, and maintenance from the Capreit rental office on Benny Crescent (Montreal). The machine for charging laundry carts is broken, so you cannot wash your clothes. The parking waiting lists were misplaced initially then an incomplete list was found. They have no idea who even has a parking spot so forget about having one after two years (even if they promise). Their records are fake and nobody will give you a reasonable answer to any questions. They never solve anything and always try to postpone it; for example, when the kitchen drain clogged we had to wait four days for it to be fixed! I am leaving this apartment without hesitation and would not advise anyone else renting from Capreit buildings; I've lived in this same building over 6 years but since FDL sold it to Capreit everything has changed drastically. My lease was renewed last year but this time around I won't be doing that - if you have other options available then do not consider renting from Capreit buildings.
