I have been fortunate enough to stay at the Crosswinds numerous times and have always had a wonderful experience. The staff is friendly, accommodating and always ready to help out with whatever tasks are needed. Additionally, the special events they host are enjoyable and a great way to meet your neighbors. Nevertheless, I would like to make a suggestion in regards to the shopping carts that are provided by the landlord: when you're finished using them, it is important that you return them back where they belong instead of taking them home or keeping them in your apartment. If you're not sure where this is, just remember that they should be placed in either level of the parking next to the building entrance.
After living in this building for a decade, I'm now retired and facing the challenge of finding a new home at my advanced age. Over the years, I've seen many different kinds of situations arise due to the fact that there are only 4-5 staff members managing 360 tenants. The building is over 30 years old and is undergoing renovations, which can be trying on tenants' patience as they may not have been informed of all possible issues beforehand. Additionally, plumbing problems have caused water to be shut off suddenly and without warning! As part of the renovations, balcony doors and windows are being replaced along with all flooring and bathrooms being remodeled with a complete kitchen revamp including appliances. Despite this being my home for 10 years, I'm not sure how much longer I can take living here.
