The building manager is superb, and the convenience store located below has friendly personnel. Unfortunately, there are infestations of bed bugs, cockroaches, and ants. After buying brand-new furniture, we now have cockroaches in our bedding and on our laptops and couches. Furthermore, water and electricity are shut down with minimal warning. No one should have to live in such conditions.

Relocating to Le 700 St Joseph Apartments in Gatineau was a daunting prospect at first, yet the helpfulness of the staff and their patience with me during the paperwork process quickly alleviated my worries. I'm now glad I made this move as it's a fantastic place to call home; you get all of the comforts of living in a house plus peace and quiet. The apartments are roomy, tidy with big closets, and very well-decorated - having your own balcony is an added bonus too! The grounds team keep everything looking outstanding year round. Any maintenance that needs doing is taken care of swiftly by trained professionals who are always polite when addressing queries and informing tenants about any changes or updates. Security measures such as fire alarms and smoke detectors further enhance the safety standards here which can't be said for other places. All in all, Le 700 St Joseph Apartments has been kept special by its dedicated management team who really look after their residents; hopefully they'll stay here for many years to come!

Recently, I moved back to Ottawa from across the river for personal reasons and wanted to give a review of the building and management. I stayed in a bachelor apartment on the 11th floor, which had carpeted floors. Although there were some cockroach sightings - mostly bug traps or reports would help with short-term solutions - I cannot say there was an infestation; usually just enough to be an annoyance. Ants were also present, but again not in numbers that could be considered an infestation. Parking was budget friendly, even indoors; and storage was available for just $10/month, plus plenty of laundry machines. The only thing missing was being able to buzz guests up from my apartment instead of having them wait downstairs for me in the lobby (which did serve as a security measure). There was one disturbance on my floor due to someone hosting a loud party late at night; however this issue never happened again after it had been addressed by management. Fire alarms went off five times during my stay but they always came in time so no worries about safety; however it would have been nice if they didn't go off at all! The elevators could get busy during rush hours but that's understandable given so many people live there (15 floors).
