We had a great stay at this lovely (large!) campground located in Baskatong. We rented Chalet #2 to visit our friends who were camping in an RV. Pros: Clean beach, swimming areas and the boaters on the lake are usually respectful. Each chalet has a fire pit and table with parking; hot water (very hot!) and power are available in the chalets; campground is kept very clean; owner is much liked by families that stay there; cookware, cutlery, glassware, plates are all of good quality; registration was easy as was info provided prior to arrival and they have a checklist of what to expect/pack. Cleaning protocols for COVID19 were well implemented here with enough room between campers. Things that could use improvement: In kitchen only one plug-in outlet but microwave takes up one plug so juggling coffee maker/toaster/kettle around breakfast can be difficult - an electrician may help resolve this problem. Dish rack drains onto counter which could be easily fixed by propping it up properly into sink. The bathroom door shuts if drawers left open so needs a handle for opening inward instead of knob used currently as it can get stuck sometimes - fire hazard! Locks on inside doors (i.e., bathroom) hard to engage/disengage - smoke alarm goes oWe had a great stay at this lovely (large!) campground located in Baskatong.
