Living in that awful place for three months was a nightmare. My wife and I were subjected to the inconsiderate stomping of the guy upstairs day and night, making our apartment shake. The continuous noise caused her immense distress, with tears being shed often. He even seemed to move furniture around daily, with loud thuds accompanying his relentless movements. When we reported it to the building manager he dismissed us, saying this kind of intrusion was expected in normal living situations. It was too bad because otherwise the apartment itself was not bad; however, it became unbearable due to all that noise. We had no other choice than to find a new home far away from that low-grade building filled with sound pollution.
