I had booked a family holiday at this camp in July 2021, after seeing the generally positive reviews it had received. However, my experience of it was overwhelmingly disappointing. The man who showed us to our cottage did not even introduce himself or give us any information about the camp. The cottage was terrible; filthy and part-way through renovation work - with a steep driveway that gave way if you got too close to the edge, no handrails or spindles on the porch, patio and decks and rotting stairs. There were also small pieces of sheet metal from where they'd put a new roof on last year scattered around everywhere! The rest of the camp seemed neglected too - except where there was a trailer park which looked immaculate because its residents maintained their own lots. The beach area had broken lounge chairs left to rot, playground nails sticking out and dangerous seams on both slides. When I went to complain to someone at the office (which itself seemed new), nobody answered me when I called hello or knocked on the door; so I returned back up to clean up as much as possible for my family's sake.
