I stayed at this place for 5 years and found it to be quite satisfactory. The apartments are a bit cramped, though. Being on a side street gives the area a nice neighborhood vibe as people hang out with their pets or just chat with each other in the open air. This sometimes causes noise during summer since most people leave their windows/balcony door open, but I personally find that atmosphere enjoyable. The staff is always quick to address any issues; when I had an issue with loud neighbors I could call them over and they would come right away. Maintenance requests were taken care of quickly too; there were some heating/hot water problems but eventually they got replaced completely, so all's well that ends well! Although not perfect, overall it was an agreeable living experience and definitely doesn't deserve all the negative reviews here!

I have lived at Westview since April and have had too many issues with people smoking throughout the building. When I complained about smoke coming into my apartment through the windows, management said there was no "no smoking rule" so it was allowed. They seem to prioritize smokers' rights over our right to a healthy life. Even if you don't want to, you are forced to be a passive smoker as there are no rules against it, even though we pay full rent. I looked for a place in Kingston where families like us were accepted but ended up trapped with nice looks and sweet communication who said they take care of our security and requirements well; however, we were told that tenants couldn't smoke in common areas during viewing but could on balconies which are right next to doors. Thus, I am trapped in an enclosed apartment with a balcony that I can't use due to the cigarette smoke. Thanks Westview management for not doing anything about this problem!

Since I moved in to the bachelor with these guys in August, I have been highly pleased with my unit. It was equipped with brand new appliances, laminate flooring, and a breakfast bar - what a great deal! The building I'm living in is kept neat and tidy; the hallways/foyer are always spotless, giving me a sense of security. The cleaning staff are friendly as well. Additionally, their responsiveness on emails/service calls is amazing - within minutes or same-day! When I had an issue where I lost my keys shortly after moving in they were understanding and accommodating. The office staff also provide prior notices for any renovations/inspections/fire tests so that tenants can plan ahead accordingly. All-in-all it's a great place to live at - would recommend!
