I lived in this apartment for around 10 months. Although it was good-looking, I am only giving it 1 star because of the insects and roaches in the kitchen, as well as frequent water cuts due to building water supply issues. The worst part was the building management; when I moved in they asked me to pay both first and last month rent, but when I tried to leave before the end of my lease term they refused to use my pre-paid last month rent. To make matters worse, auto rent deduction for that month continued even after I had legally transferred my lease with all documents signed and approved. After numerous calls and emails there has been no response from them regarding a refund check which was promised; two months have passed since vacating yet there is still no sign of me getting my money back.

I strongly advise against living in this apartment. Even though it's in a convenient location with easy access to the metro, grocery store, and mall, the manager is very irresponsible and provided me with no support. I had an ongoing problem with cockroaches and despite having exterminators come multiple times nothing was resolved - I even found them in my food! The manager only responds to texts asking for your unit number, never returns calls or emails unless it relates to money. If you choose to pay rent by e-transfer there's no confirmation that it went through - you have to wait for an eviction notice before finding out whether or not they received it! The apartment itself is spacious but NOT soundproof at all; I could hear my neighbor's conversations as if we were in the same room and even know when they were taking a shower due to the noise level. This building needs a new manager because he doesn't take our concerns seriously unless money is involved. We also experience regular water cuts for plumbing issues and hot water as well - so paying over $1000 per month only leads up being desperate trying to find somewhere else just for a shower!
