I wish to give 0 stars, however, there is not such an option so I am giving 1 star. I resided in Apartment no 1808 of this building for a year until the end of my lease. Upon leaving, the management inspected the apartment and initiated the refund process. When we returned to India, they gave me my check much later than what was promised; additionally, upon Alessandra Crecco's comment after re-inspecting the apartment, 200$ was deducted from my security deposit for cleaning fees. When questioned about this, they said that appliances were "dirty", however these were given to me in that condition - which is unfair. Tenants should be aware that according to Quebec Civil Code law you are not obligated to pay a security deposit amount (screenshot attached). To be on the safe side take pictures of everything inside before leaving and email them to management. The building administration only speaks for landlords and not tenants which is unjustified. After living in an apartment for one year it will not remain as clean as when new; deducting such a hefty sum (200$) is cheating since they knew we would not come back and contest it (pictures attached).
