If this complex appeals to you, try one of its neighbors that Boardwalk doesn't administrate; otherwise, you'll be in constant disputes with them as they invent extra charges. I was a past tenant at this place and I'm using a pseudonym to protect my identity from potential harassment if I have to rent from them again in the future. The two Sams who work here were very different; one of them was really nice, while the other was an awful Karen. Every year they would raise the rent unless we found a way to prevent it, even during major COVID restrictions when it said you couldn't raise rent. Even with all their bonuses and rebates, 1600 dollars should not be so close to slum-like conditions - think homeless people digging through trash or drug deals happening near exit doors - but that's what it is like here. The security guard isn't much help either, as he hasn't been around lately. Maintenance can be mixed bag; some fixes are good but most just do the minimum amount of work necessary. You can also hear your neighbors doing everyday activities like using the bathroom or singing in the shower due to how thin some walls are! Despite all this, I still like my suite - it's spacious with a nice patio and courtyard - but management has an inflated opinion on how much these suites should cost considering everything else going on in this area.
