I have been living in Strathmore Lodge for the past 5 years which was highly recommended to me by two of my closest friends who were former occupants As I experienced the application process I was incredibly impressed with their property management The building managers are onsite 7 days a week and greeted me warmly eager to make sure that I felt at home in their building and that I would fit in with the positive and respectful tenants already living there In my 5 years here Strathmore Lodge has continued to surpass my expectations of how a property should be managed They always go beyond what is expected and know all of us by name even more impressive considering how many people live here The building has seen many improvements such as new windows heating systems laundry services and elevators being installed over the last 56 years Any issue is quickly taken care of thanks to their proactive approach Furthermore Strathmore lodge provides a safe atmosphere where everyone respects each other instead of having parties that may disturb neighbours All common areas are cleaned twice daily due to covid19 precautions which I am especially grateful for This beautiful building also offers an ideal location in the West End with a walk score of 94 My grocery store liquor store hair salonbarber shoppharmacyfavourite bar are all within one block radius not forgetting there is also an amazing park plus weekly farmers market just outside my door more ... hide ...

I had one of the worst experiences ever at 825 East 8th Place Management was constantly changing and all of our wall outlets were painted over rendering them useless The water pressure was too high and no one bothered to fix it Before we moved out a water fixture issue in the suite below caused flooding our own suites floor got hot and started to smell bad W 2023-03-05T13:00:04Z
I had one of the worst experiences ever at 825 East 8th Place Management was constantly changing and all of our wall outlets were painted over rendering them useless The water pressure was too high and no one bothered to fix it Before we moved out a water fixture issue in the suite below caused flooding our own suites floor got hot and started to smell bad We went downstairs but there was no tenant only water coming from under the door When we called management they asked if they needed to come or call a plumber shouldnt that have been their job This is just a fraction of all the issues with this building even Vancouver City knew about them as when I reported an unsafe elevator they said it had been shut down by them In addition there were some suspicious people entering sometimes breakins in the garage too Twice someone tried opening our front door when we were home thankfully it was locked DO NOT MOVE HERE any good reviews are fake since they all occurred around the same time frame and each account only has 1 review for this place Don't fall for it you will regret your decision 100 more ... hide ...
