My experience living at Meridia for the past 7 months has been great. The move-in process was smooth and the price is competitive with other regions. Betzy, the property manager, was very accommodating and helped me with issues such as a furniture delivery hiccup and obtaining a washer/dryer in my first month. My neighbors are friendly and noise levels have been low, even on holidays. I'm also grateful that Meridia is pet friendly – it allowed me to adopt my rescue kitty! Maintenance requests are answered promptly, with a helpful super and vendors like an exterminator who took care of some carpet beetle trouble I had.
The neighborhood around Meridia offers plenty of amenities – many local businesses nearby, parks with views of NYC, easy public transit access to the city – all while feeling safe due to locked entryways. However there are some minor drawbacks including expensive laundry room fees, stuffiness in upper floors during summertime, packages delivered to vestibule instead of mailroom or unit doors (not Meridia's fault), having to keep an app on your phone for access (lockouts cost $150 outside business hours), no visitor parking spaces. Overall though these don't detract from my overall satisfaction hMy experience living at Meridia for the past 7 months has been great. I highly recommend living here if you're considering it - it certainly worked out well for me coming from out-of-state!more ...hide ...
