Since we have resided in this apartment, there has been an issue or two. Thankfully, the office worker, Sebastian is respectful and courteous but he cannot do anything about these issues. To begin with, every time we turn on the air conditioning or oven, electricity is cut off because of worn-out breakers. In addition to this, the heating system is abysmal as one cannot tell if it is on or off when touching the radiator. Therefore I must wear a jacket indoors and stay under my blanket while working. Furthermore, due to aged windows possessing no insulation whatsoever; not only does wind come in freely but curtains flutter around as well. Even more so was it difficult when there was a problem with the sink which took three months to repair! We are situated on the second floor without any street view so natural light during winter is scarce too; however I do like its convenient location – near bus stops and metro station plus close proximity to downtown area and pharmacy that are open 24/7 – plus it's tidy enough and roomy as well

The location of this building is ideal, close to a 24-hour grocery store and pharmacy as well as Mount-Royal park and Summit Woods. The elevators are great and the staff, especially building manager Andreea, are very accommodating. The only downsides are the included heating is weak - never getting above 20 C in any apartment - and the laundry service onsite is somewhat expensive; however, there is a 24-hour cheap laundry mat within walking distance. Cleanliness is maintained and the other residents living here are pleasant. Highly recommended!

The building and area are generally secure, yet my year-long rental experience in the building and with the management office during 2016 was less than satisfactory. I experienced numerous shorter power outages that may have caused a new refrigerator to cease operation; plus, I often heard the elevator emergency alarm due to regular malfunctions (my suite happened to be across from the elevators) - one time, it actually got stuck and wouldn't open or move. The apartment door would bang shut when people would enter/exit late at night/early morning; furthermore, the shower water pressure was just enough but not really decent. Lastly, when my lease expired on December 31st, no refund was issued until I presented a receipt of security deposit - so after dropping off the keys in their in-box, they refused to mail me an acknowledgement and made me go back in person for it.

The management from the building manager to the general manager was extremely unprofessional and inadequate. Calls were made to senior management, yet they would rarely answer and when they did, it was only with empty promises. Repairs and renovations promised were not completed. The elevators weren't working properly despite there being two in the building. The resident manager was quite disrespectful on occasion and her word wasn't kept; a complaint letter had to be sent before anything happened regarding a clogged sink. Other apartments' doors banging all day contributed to our lack of restful sleep, but no action was taken after informing the building manager of this issue. Furthermore, power outages happened without a generator in place; hot water during winter months was rare too and temperatures dropped as low as 18 degrees Celsius even with our own heating system running - adding an extra $70 onto our electricity bill! The heating system itself seemed inefficient due to their attempt at saving fuel, air leaking through walls, windows and balcony door (all of which were very old) meant we had to make repairs ourselves for 6-7 months by applying silicon all over them just so we could close them off properly - overall it was more ...

At first glance this is a very modern and pleasant place however when the novelty wears off you will observe more cons Its suitable for shortterm rental or Airbnb One issue is that the elevator typically does not work in a building with four elevators usually half of them are broken and you have to wait for awhile or take one with multiple people in it durin
