Living at Weston Point apartments last summer was delightful; the grounds were maintained, maintenance was fast and polite, and there was a good level of communication. They also hosted activities to engage with residents despite COVID. This year however is a different story; the best prize they could offer in their porch decorating contest was a $5 gift card to Andy€™s custard across the street, and no celebrations for Pride Month or 4th of July. The resident engagement is nonexistent. Moreover, the trash situation has been getting out of hand; my wife and I have lived here for eighteen months now, during which we've noticed how inadequate their standards are, as well as their mismanagement of facilities - even though we're paying over $1400/unit! Malfunctioning sprinkler lines waste gallons per minute (which residents must pay for), maintenance requests are not addressed unless they're emergencies.. On top of that, trash piles up every day in our community's center - dryers, mattresses etc mixed with maggot-filled garbage bags - but Lori (the manager) has no idea how to solve these problems. Do not move here: the only reason I give them two stars is because they don't bother us much.
