Booking our 2 night stay in January 2022 for the pet-friendly rustic cabin got me really excited. I thought I had a great deal at $399/night plus $100 resort credit, bottle of wine, and $80 food credit. Unfortunately, a few days before our stay I learned about the construction happening right next to us and was offered 25% off instead of the original rate ($299/night) with no resort credit. Even though it was cheaper, it wasn't worth it; the room was run-down (bathroom door hard to close/lock; kitchen sink faucet falling apart until it came off on our last day), there were previous customer's hairs everywhere, my pup finding things on the ground he'd lick at, dusty mirrors, spider webs in shower & small dead flies in Jacuzzi. The 8am construction start time changed to 7:30am & we were locked out when we returned from an off-resort hike (the one they had there being too short). Maintenance arrived promptly but didn't have a key till fixed so delayed tee time until sorted out (luckily another one available since midweek early afternoon). Staff friendly & clubhouse food decent but overpriced; biggest perk was wood burning fireplace but chairs not clean so used blankets to sit on them. Definitely needs updating!
