Academy Suites, formerly known as Evelyn Court, is currently undergoing renovation by new owners and is expected to be finished in early 2022. The new owners are great and have made the living situation much more family-friendly and safe compared to before. It has increased security with a full time superintendent on site as well as security cameras. There is a larger parking lot and extra storage rooms available. All of the units are newly renovated with stainless steel appliances such as stove, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, washer and dryer - making it a 5-star rated accommodation from its previous 1-star rating. It's close to downtown Kentville with many changes planned for this year - old tenants look forward to seeing the progress! (photos of old units will be updated soon).
