My review is solely for the Property Management department, particularly Michelle Brewer who oversees the leasing contracts. Unfortunately, under her direction, their focus has shifted to quickly making financial gains. On numerous occasions, her conduct towards tenants has been unprofessional: when we had to end our tenancy early due to personal reasons, she failed to provide us with references despite several follow-ups. After repeated emails from us asking about the required notice period and how we could give referrals for new occupants of the property, she evaded our questions. She was also hostile when it came to getting repairs done in a timely manner if tenants asked for an immediate application process. Furthermore, she commented on an Indian Society that "Your community has started a trend in this society of coming and then leaving by giving reference of new tenants in short term durations", which was inappropriate. In addition, Property Management team made me run around banks for payment discrepancies which were not declared by them initially; moreover I questioned why I should pay the power bill if I am no longer occupying the unit during my notice period without getting any reasonable answer from them? This type of unprofessionalism should be avoided towards outgoing tenants and stop viewing new ones as potential sources of fast cash.more ...hide ...
