I lived at the Mayfair from September 2020 to September 2022 and it was an amazing place. The location was great, right downtown but still safe due to being situated on a main intersection with lots of businesses and lights. Although it was often noisy outside, I eventually got accustomed to it. Security personnel all the time also provided us with a sense of safety while living in the city center. The concierge staff were also very friendly. My only issue was that during the summer months my unit (located in a two-bedroom apartment's second bedroom with no windows) became unbearably hot—a real sauna. If you're looking for a nice building located downtown and with nice staff, then Mayfair is the place to be!

We've been living at the Mayfair on Jasper since July and are absolutely loving it! Not only does it have walls of windows that let in plenty of natural light, but also a walk-in closet which is rare for downtown apartments. We looked around quite a bit before deciding that this was the best bang for our buck with regards to price, square footage, amenities, and location. The staff here is top notch; Jasmine as the building manager is super responsive to any issues we may have. Everyone here is great to talk to as well. So if you're looking for a place to live, consider giving this one a look!

The Centurion team is wonderful and I've never experienced better customer service from a rental company. Unfortunately, the units are cheaply made and not well designed; one cupboard won't open all the way because of the handle position. There's also limited storage space. Additionally, in winter my heat was off for weeks, yet it was still very hot in my suite. I had to endure a nasty sewer smell every few months as well as a dog barking/howling in an adjacent unit all day and night. Being downtown there's obviously lots of traffic noise, but adding to that were fire alarms going off late at night occasionally too. It can be tricky for guests to find parking or take the elevator up since it's confusing; I wish I'd known before moving in how expensive power bills could be during summer - almost double the average! My one bedroom corner unit costs me $1700/month by myself, but there is a small fitness room with everything you need if that helps make up for it (if you have the budget).

I stayed at the Mayfair for 9 months, from September 2020 to May 2021. My review is a bit overdue, though! During my stay, there were some minor hiccups due to building issues and staff changes; however, once Jasmine, Emma and Ian became the management team things improved dramatically. The building is situated in an ideal area and it's quite secure. If it fits your budget and you want this location I would recommend it. A few drawbacks are that parking can be pricey (but not unusually so for downtown), bathrooms don't have fans, roller shades let light through, heating systems make noises in some units (ours included) and there's no visitor parking. Even with these points to consider I still liked living at the Mayfair - my only reason for leaving was finding something more affordable that suited me better. In our unit type we could keep the bedroom dark enough with shades that weren't totally opaque; while having no fan in the bathroom wasn't convenient we could turn off the heating system overnight without worrying about getting cold quickly. To conclude: I definitely suggest this building and its management team is top-notch!
