When we moved in during July of 2022, we were expecting our apartment to be soundproof and have plenty of trees as well as a swimming pool with a hedge for privacy. Unfortunately, when we arrived, the unit was filthy; grout on the walls and sticky floors. The shower drain was clogged and light bulbs were burned out that needed to be replaced at our own expense. About 3 months ago, construction began on a new building which required them to take down many of the beautiful trees and part of the hedge from around the pool area. As if things weren't already bad enough, parking has become an issue due to overcrowding now that construction is underway. Apparently they warned tenants renewing their lease about this but no one told us who had just moved in this year - it's been nothing but lies! We had signed a 2-year contract which included no rent increase but because of all these changes taking place now, we plan on leaving sooner than expected.
