If you'd like to experience a rental company that doesn't take you seriously, second-hand smoke in a non-smoking building, no response from your landlord or head office, unresolved complaints and unfounded accusations (e.g. parking in someone else's space with no car there), and appliances wired the wrong way round, Wallace Living is the right choice for you.
If you're a non-smoker who is sensitive and gets ill from second hand smoke, do not rent from Wallace Living! They lie about their no smoking lease condition and protect smokers while threatening eviction to those who complain of cigarette smoke seeping into the building units. I proposed they insulate the apartment doors, but nothing was done. It's an unhealthy place to live; they are not honest about their no smoking and no pets regulations.
I would not assign any stars to my experience with leasing from 319B Young Street. Avoid this property management company at all costs; although Lindsay from Wallace claims the units are non-smoking, tenants still smoke in their apartments and on their balconies. Speaking of which, don't bother trying to file a complaint; Lindsay isn't interested in hearing it. During the summer, I had to shut my windows due to the marijuana aroma that filled my living room daily. Cigarette smoke seeped through my bathroom vent leaving behind an unbearable stench all the time. In addition, there is no soundproofing whatsoever in any of their buildings so expect a lot of noise coming from adjacent units and don't even think about contacting Wallace for help because nobody will address your concerns anyway. All things considered, it was an incredibly toxic and wretched living environment.
