I wish there was an option for zero stars, as I never take the time to write reviews, but feel that people should know before renting with them. The maintenance department was great; everyone was friendly and responded quickly to my requests. On the other hand, the leasing office service is terrible; I had issues with them right away when they closed my blinds during daylight hours. It's hard to get hold of anyone and if they say they'll call you back then don't expect it. In all of the other apartments I've rented in the past, I have always gotten a refund on my deposit. When I paid a $750 deposit here though, they asked me for over $1350 instead - which is ridiculous! They said it was for carpet replacement despite me vacuuming and cleaning it thoroughly - what's the point of doing that? All they care about is money without reasonable explanation or justification; it wasn't even damaged! In addition, when we moved in there were dents on our refrigerator but later on were charged a $500 damage fee for it - not even bothering to return any calls or emails until 5 days later when we got them to waive this fee (which shouldn't have been charged in first place).
