I lived in Irvine for almost three years and had a great experience. Even though everyone's opinion of it may differ, I wanted to share why I loved living there and hopefully help those considering renting there. Firstly, the city is impeccable - only ten minutes away from an amazing park with the best public tennis courts around. Plus, Trader Joe's and Ralph's are just across the street! Additionally, the neighborhood was secure and peaceful. Towards the end of our stay I noticed that they even had patrols circling at night - one night at midnight while walking my dog I saw a car parked on the side of our building that didn't belong in a spot; sure enough, someone came out to investigate! Furthermore, maintenance was terrific - requests were met right away with any appliance problems fixed quickly if not immediately! As far as move-out costs go (which some may not be fond of), they are fair; plus you can get rent control if you have to break your lease (which we weren't able to take advantage of). They also supply an itemized list including invoice for all cleaning/carpet charges which proved to be cheaper than expected. The only issue we encountered was noisy neighbors who would scream at the top of their lungs during daytime when everyone was home due to Covid restrictions; calling the office did nothing so more ... hide ...
