The elevator usually doesn't work, and the call buzzer is also not functional. The building itself is dirty, and renovations were done unprofessionally. For example, snap together flooring isn't secured, paint was missed around switches/plugs and there were noticeable drips on the floors and shower. Additionally, vents have fallen out of the roof and the electrical panel is upside down! Maintenance requests sent through the portal never get answered either. The resident managers (there have been 3 in 6 months) don't respond to texts either. Additionally, it took them 4 tries/3 weeks to guess which assigned parking space was vacant - causing me to pay for street parking as well as issues between tenants. It also took 5 months for me to receive a copy of my lease - only after I went to Mainstreet's head office! Plus when I gave a bad review of Mainstreet's head office they replied someone would get back in touch with me ASAP but that never happened shockingly enough! Even though the location is great & I've made the best of my apartment which is why I still gave 2 stars; overall most of what Mainstreet promised didn't come through which makes it not worth almost $1200 when nothing works.
