This building and its neighbors are nice, but the office manager Rubie is less than helpful; she's in the office only two days a week and is unresponsive to any issues that come up. For instance, when the temperature was 54C inside during winter with the thermostat set to 25C, her solution was to leave all windows and doors open—despite it being -10C outside. Similarly, if there's mould in the washroom caused by a previous tenant or sub-par renovations, you have little chance of getting her to fix it unless you become seriously ill from it. Moreover, she lies about almost everything so make sure you get every small communication from her on paper for documentation purposes. Her husband is one of the nicest people you'll meet though—unlike her—making this situation even more unfortunate. All things considered, being homeless may be better than living here.

Staying in this building as a guest, I was pleased with its upkeep and design. The elevator worked well and there were numerous suite entrances at the floor level. The card-operated laundry system worked properly. Unfortunately, soundproofing was lacking (noisy at night). On the other hand, the location was great: across from a public library and vet clinic; parks and convenience stores were within walking distance. Ashley, the building manager, I met only twice but she seemed friendly when we passed each other by. All things considered, I would definitely consider renting here again in the future.

In my three years of residing in this building's one bedroom apartment, I've become quite fond of it. I'm especially sad to leave since I recently moved out with my partner who bought a house. Ashley, the building manager, has been so friendly and approachable throughout my stay. When my bathroom sink was clogged up, she came to the rescue within two days and solved the issue. The moving out inspection went perfectly as well; Ashley was efficient, understanding and very accommodating - much appreciation for her! Although this is goodbye for me now, I will surely miss this place!
