I resided at the Carlton for three years and enjoyed my stay thoroughly. The landlord, Paul, was exceptional and went above and beyond for his tenants. In addition to that, the atmosphere of the building was great - as a single woman living alone I felt secure having pleasant neighbours around me. Unfortunately, I had to move out two years ago due to the construction of a building in close proximity.

Spent a year in this place and it cost me plenty when I had to move out. At the start, the building manager said that regular wear and tear was acceptable. But when I left, he demanded that it be returned in the same condition as he gave it to me - leading to cleaning charges. He also stated that my move-out date was July 31st (it turned out to be August 31st). I failed to double check this so by the time I finalized a new place, he told me the real date which cost me my deposit. The house/apartment is modern and well-maintained but those facing towards parking lot can get noisy during summers when you have difficulty managing temperatures - either too hot with windows closed or too loud with them open.

I stayed at this place for two and a half years, and it was an extremely pleasant experience. Paul, the building manager, was always available to answer any questions I had. When I moved in, everything in my suite was fully functional and required no maintenance over my duration of stay. If not for wanting a change of scenery, I would have been more than content to stay longer. Highly recommended!
