We lived in Colonial Village for almost 3 years and had a wonderful stay--the grounds were well kept and service calls were answered quickly. There is a resident maintenance crew that's very responsive, plus the option to pay rent online, use autopay, or submit service requests. After the initial lease period, it's possible to move month-to-month for an extra $100. The neighborhood is safe and it's close to Glastonbury restaurants/Whole Foods; also, because of Button Ball Elementary school zoning, there are lots of families with small children. The "middle sector lawn area" of the property is where older kids usually play; so if you're sensitive to noise from children playing outdoors then this should be taken into consideration. Rent prices may be a bit higher than what they're worth but compared to newer apartments in Glastonbury they offer good value (including heat). There are large lawns & pathways around the property; management isn't overly strict which is great if you have kids. In summertime there's also a swimming pool available at no extra cost and heat during wintertime is pretty good too.
