My partner and I recently moved into a one-bedroom with a substantial private patio, and we are delighted with our decision! We looked at numerous buildings across the city (so many virtual showings). We wanted to share this because reviews helped us select an apartment from the east coast, without ever visiting SF. Venue fits all of our most critical criteria (management, safety, dog-friendly, layout, washer/dryer, easy work commute), so it was perfect for us! The pros: helpful management who respond quickly to emails and always have doggy treats; in-unit washer/dryer; secure atmosphere throughout complex; great location near train station for commuting to work as well as groceries stores, parks/green spaces and waterfront; surprisingly quiet like suburbs level calmness due to water fountain white noise; massive patio that is very secluded even though courtyard level. Also Amazon lockers and protected package system which have been beneficial since package theft seems common in SF. Cons: electric stovetop instead of gas which necessitates more cleaning plus fear of scratching it; noisy appliances such as washer/dryer/dishwasher; basic facility amenities such as gym or courtyard BBQ area but no pool or dog run or rooftop area-- weMy partner and I recently moved into a one-bedroom with a substantial private patio, and we are delighted with our decision!
