This complex is a nightmare riddled with big issues such as discrimination bullying neglect and drugs Single mothers with small children are discriminated against and pushed to their limits Property Manager Richard is a bully who uses intimidation to control tenants Maintenance workers Rick and Erwin work on the property without being certified or licensed Rick often enters peoples homes without warning or reason while Erwin has had police called on him for putting his hands on a child The tenants of the building are mostly older adults who don't tolerate any noise from children they join forces in filing complaints about one another in order to take action This clique talks about everyones business and decides what is right or wrong many feel uncomfortable coming outside when everyone else is there due to fear of rumors leading to Childrens Aid involvement The townhouses are in disarray management only does minimal work that takes months to complete I requested 8 months for my door frame repair only for them to use super glue as a fix and charge me for door replacement Drugs have been found multiple times around the complex when I moved in I found syringes in my backyard alongside weapons like shotguns at my neighbors drug house more recently someone outside was alerted of a syringe under the doorway button Ultimately you must know your rights here and stand up for yourself if you want any chance of survival they will push back hard if you do not comply more ... hide ...

Living here has been quite the experience mold outrageous rent hikes annually cockroaches red ants flies rats and bedbugs Im still dealing with the mold rats and bedbugs Usually they don't address these issues promptly To get rid of the cockroaches we resorted to a home remedy from Google search and prayer Havent seen any red ants or flies since the bedbug treatments a month ago but those little critters are still alive and thriving Ignoring or just painting over the mold wont make it go away management team Rent hikes for new elevators in basement parking but no maintenance of apartment units for residents living here for 7 years Our units are falling apart If I had children this would not be an option there have been violent crimes around these buildings every year or so My neighbor has reported many things at that plaza nearby here you can check out Durham News to confirm this No security systems in buildings either plus cameras that don't work properly vehicles in underground parking get damaged scratchesdentstires slashed but police never have evidence because cameras don't capture anything useful All my experiences as well as other tenants stories plus what a police officer told me about constant reports of damage if I could leave without any financial burden I would do it without hesitation On the bright side some wonderful people live here who are friendly and hardworking Im lucky enough to know more ... hide ...
