I booked this place for one night for my girlfriend's birthday and to get away from camping. The spa area was a big draw, but the cold plunge bath was out of service. I tried to replicate it with a garden hose instead. The staff and grounds were great, but the room wasn't what I expected; it had two twin beds pushed together instead of a king-size bed, thin walls which allowed noise from the upstairs kitchen and common areas to come through, as well as people using the nearby washroom/shower. Moreover, our room lacked privacy due to having a shared balcony outside. While there were some nice views through all its windows we had to keep them shut because of other people around outside our room. In conclusion I felt like I paid a premium price for something similar to boarding house accommodations - better value can be found elsewhere or perhaps this type of lodging just isn't for me.
