The staff at Historica may seem friendly on the surface, but in reality they are only concerned with making a profit. For example, when they took over my apartment building, everyone was evicted in winter and given a $400 bonus on their damage deposit. Additionally, during renovations, the fridge I left behind was lost and the workers began to talk about me in a negative way. The condition of the building worsened too--there were mice and fleas everywhere as well as dirt all over. To avoid similar situations, I highly suggest not allowing Historica to purchase your building if you can help it; because with them you are nothing more than a source of income.
